September 2 , 2008:
Practice Update: This is my first week in the office after my family's move from San Diego to the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. My new therapy website is www.marintherapyandcounseling.com.
Website Update:The Toolbox contains all of my articles, tips, tools and Premarital Counseling Workbook. I also have a Ask the Relationship Therapist section for people to submit their relationship questions.
There will be additional sections added to The Toolbox including tools for therapists to use in their practices - and a family of origin therapist directory which will contain therapists who are committed to helping people heal from their pasts (often wounds in their families of origin) to move on in the present. If you are a therapist who is interested in being in this directory, send me your name, city, state and website link. My goal is to make it easy for people to find therapists and counselors who believe in the power of experiences with important people early on - as well as the development of unhelpful belief systems that can sometimes occur if the experiences are negative, hurtful or traumatizing in some way.
Newsletter Update: The Toolbox Newsletter is still in the works - I've been a little busy with the move and unable to put the finishing touches on it quite yet. When it is ready, it will likely be a monthly newsletter you'll be able to sign up to receive it if you so desire.
Until next time -
Lisa
